A White Bathroom Doesn’t Have To Be Boring

For a classic, timeless style in your bathroom, go white!  White walls paired against a bold tile accent wall will pair beautifully, as will a bold color on the wall paired with classic white subway tile.  The contrast of daring color accents with a white background is very on point with today’s design trends and will hold up for years to come without going out of style.

Go Big In The Shower

Homeowners and home buyers nowadays are looking for bigger and better when it comes to showers.  Long gone are the days where a tiny corner shower would play second fiddle to a large, jetted tub.  Today’s trend is large, open showers with plenty of room for relaxing, amazing experiences to be had each day.  From rain shower heads to steam showers and beyond, make yours a true showpiece that will double as an incredible retreat at the end of a long day.

Hit The Bench For Your Bath

A great wooden bench placed next to the shower or tub can be an excellent addition to your bathroom and can be multipurpose.  Use it to not only add style and character but also to hold bath essentials like shampoo bottles or to keep your towel dry and easy to reach.  You can also add a touch of spring to the room as well and add a potted plant with a pop of color on the bench.

Smell The Roses

We all think of flowers when we think of spring.  Why not bring flowers into your bathroom for a fresh burst of color and aroma?  Floral prints are very on trend currently and can easily be incorporated into your bathroom design this spring.  For example, try a great bright floral print shower curtain to really bring the vibrancy of spring into your bathroom.  The floral print artwork is another easy way to bring nature into your bathroom and have you thinking spring.

Open Up Space

Open shelving is a design trend that is making its mark not only in kitchens but bathrooms as well.  Open shelving allows for easier visibility and access to the things you need and can create a focal point in the room.  Be sure to keep things stored openly neat and organized to avoid a cluttered mess.  Consider rolling bath towels and placing on an open shelf.  Also, coordinating storage containers to hold other things like small toiletries can look great on open shelving as well.  For the pop of spring, try a small plant or fresh flowers on a shelf.

Free Your Tub

One of the hottest bathroom design trends currently is freestanding bathtubs.  These fixtures serve as a beautiful focal point in any bathroom and can really make a bold statement compared to tubs of the past that were bulky and fixed to walls.  A great claw foot tub can set a vintage, classic vibe in your bathroom whereas some of the newer, clean line tubs can really set the tone for a modern bathroom.  Whatever your style, there is a freestanding tub to match it.

Get ready for warmer weather with a good clean around the house.  Even better, give your bathroom space a much – needed update by implementing a few of these design trends.  The certified bathroom designers at Dream Baths are up – to – date on these and all of the bathroom styles trending this spring.  Let us help you to put a little spring into your step with a great new bathroom design!
