With 2014 quickly coming to a close, we want to take a look ahead to some of the bathroom design trends we might see in 2015. Sandy Beyer shared some of her favorite trends.
One of my favorite bathroom trends is combining the free standing tub with the shower behind one glass enclosure. It works well to keep the splash factor under control for both tub and shower. This is also a practical solution for efficient use the space available. There can be less tile transitions and a more open spa feeling to the space. I think this will become more popular over the next couple of years.
I also feel the stacked stone on an accent wall will continue to be a major design trend. There are many styles and colors of tile available to compliment contemporary and traditional styling. Tile vendors are making it easy to use this concept by putting stone on 12″ by 12″ mesh sheets for a more affordable installation which makes this a great solution for all bathroom budgets.
These are a couple of my favorite bathroom trends to look for in 2015. At Dream Baths, we can work with you on any bathroom design you have in mind.
